Furniture Release

Full and final payment is required prior to release of furniture for delivery or pickup.

Closeout Sales

All “close-out” or clearance items are final sales and sold “AS IS” and with NO warranty. No Returns, exchanges, or refunds will be issued.

Warehouse Pick Up

If you are planning to pick up your merchandise, please note the warehouse hours. The warehouse is open 10am to 5pm and is located at 7177 Telegraph Rd, Montebello CA 90640. BEFORE PULLING UP TO THE WAREHOUSE, please bring your online receipt and identification to the cashier counter, located at the same address, and they will process the necessary paperwork for your merchandise pickup. Once an order has been completed and the customer has been notified of its availability, pick up of furniture must occur within fourteen (14) calendar days.

In the event Customer requests loading of merchandise inside their vehicle, Customer hereby agrees to check the load to make sure that it is secure and hereby agrees to release and waive any and all claims, causes of action, damages (including consequential damages and/or loss of use) or liabilities of whatsoever kind or nature against Government Liquidation, its members, officers, agents, employees, successors and assigns arising from or related to, directly or indirectly, such loading services.

Delivery

We will begin processing your delivery two (2) days prior to the delivery date. No cancellation or changes can be made during this two (2) day period. Prior may be made calling (323)890-1020 and are subject to additional delivery charges. All deliveries are to ground floor only, unless a suitable elevator access is provided.

Local Delivery: if your purchase is to be delivered, it must be paid in full or financing arrangements made by 5:00pm two (2) days before delivery.

All Deliveries are Curbside Delivery unless noted otherwise. In all cases, Customer must be present at delivery site during the scheduled delivery time in order to avoid a re-delivery charge of $50.00, plus redelivery charge according to current delivery rates. Curbside Deliver: (i) Customer agrees to provide adequate assistance to the delivery driver during unloading at the curb of Customer’s home. It is Customer’s responsibility to un-package the furniture items and moves the items into the home. Extra charges will apply in the event the Customer requests the shipment be carried inside the home or office. (ii) Delivery with inside Home Setup: Mirage will deliver furniture, carry the furniture to the room(s) requested on the ground floor, setup the furniture and remove the packaging materials from the customer’s site. Furniture prices do not include shipping charges. Items are shipped using Mirage company trucks or through a third party packaging and shipping company. (iii) In Home Set up: services are available should Customer require the furniture to be setup in the home or office. In Home Setup fees are calculated separately and are due in advance.

Storage Fees

Storage Fees: Customer agrees to pay Mirage for storage services and related fees in the event the furniture remains at Mirage after 14 days from date of notice of availability (including unable to deliver due to Customer’s cause). Storage fees are payable in advance at the rate of 1.5% of the invoice total per month after day 14. Customer agrees to pay any unpaid storage fees at the time the furniture is picked up or delivered. If more than two months of storage fees are unpaid and furniture is unclaimed, Mirage may dispose of the furniture as abandoned property.

Preparing for your new furniture

Customer assumes full responsibility for sufficient clearing of the area (e.g., doorways, hallways, stairways, etc.) in to allow for delivery of the furniture, and reloading/hook up of any electronic components (if applicable). Customer assumes full responsibility for ensuring that furniture will fit the space, purpose and use intended by Customer. Mirage and its delivery staff shall not be responsible for moving current furniture or obstructions during the delivery process. Customer’s  failure to prepare the intended location for delivery, as determined in the sole and exclusive discretion of Mirage and its delivery staff, may prevent delivery from occurring and therefore result in re-delivery charges.

Furniture Dimensions

Furniture sizes and dimensions are issued by Mirage suppliers and vary by manufacturer. They are provided as a service to customer, and are approximations which should be verified independently by Customer. The measurements provided outer most corners of the pieces. Customer assumes all risk regarding determinations of furniture size and fit. Mirage disclaims all representations provided and shall not be liable for any errors in information provided. In no event shall a mistake in size or fit of furniture result in invalidation of an order or refund. All returns will be handled per Mirage Return Policy as set forth herein.

Manufacturer’s Warranties

Except as provide under this paragraph, no warranties are provided except for at Customer’s request and in the sole and exclusive discretion of Mirage for appropriate-cases. Mirage will provide assistance to Customer in facilitating valid claims against applicable manufacturer’s warranties. Mirage will not be responsible for any costs, including but not limited to shipping costs, incurred by Customer in the processing of claims under manufacturer warranties. Questions regarding warranties should be directed to Mirage staff with a copy of Customer’s original invoice, and include the applicable make, model, and serial number of the product.

  1. This warranty does not apply to merchandise marked as sale items, repossessed, close-outs, or as-is.

  2. The warranty does not cover defects caused by customer abuse or negligence.

Hardwoods

Hardwoods may contain mineral deposits, pits, gum streaks, small pin holes, knots, color differences, unusual grain patterns, darker heart wood, lighter sap wood, etc. However, it is these attributes that comprise the beauty of hardwood furniture. No two items are exact duplicates, and therefore Mirage makes no presentation or guarantee that Customer’s furniture will appear exactly as another.

No Cash Refunds

Upon payment, all sales are final and no refunds or in-store credits are allowed on close-out or sale item, special order items and items picked up by customer or delivered by Mirage. In store credit on regular priced items are allowed up to two days prior to scheduled delivery.

Return Policy

Mirage Furniture accepts returns on regular priced items within three (3) days of the receipt of an item(s). Bedding products such as mattress, box spring, pillows are excluded from the list. Customer will be charged a 35% restocking fee on all item returns. Customer will be responsible for all sizes and measurements for special orders, and Mirage will not accept any custom-sized merchandises returned. Mirage Furniture reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges of items that are not in as-new condition due to customer negligence.

Customer will be charged a pickup fee if the returned items need to be picked up from Customer’s location. Initial delivery fee is not refundable. Prices paid at the time of purchase are final. If customer desire to change the order to different furniture, Mirage will charge 15% restock fee and a redelivery fee.

Layaways

Layaways are available and Mirage will hold your item(s) for maximum of six months, and with the following terms. (i) Minimum initial deposit of 30%. (ii) Pay full balance due before expiration of six (6) months and notify Mirage five days prior to pick up or delivery date of your furniture. (iii) In the event the item(s) is (are) not picked up by the sixth (6) month from the initial payment date, storage fees are payable in advance at the rate of 1.5% of the invoice total per month and Customer agrees to pay any unpaid storage fees at the time the furniture is picked up or delivered. If more than two months of storage fees are unpaid and furniture is unclaimed, Mirage may dispose of the furniture as abandoned property.

No Cooling off for furniture sales

California Law does not provide a cooling of period or any other cancellation period for furniture sales.

California Proposition 65 Warning

There are products on the premises that may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
